Messages from Spirit

My memory of my dad passing is still very real, unfortunately it was during COVID-19 and we were restricted in seeing him whilst he was in the nursing home until he became palliative.  We then were able to sit with him for an allocated short time – we were lucky for any time we had been given at that stage.  We spent all the time we could with him however unfortunately, we were not there when he passed.

I remember sitting down that night ‘watching’ tv wondering how dad is, wanting to be there.  When all of a sudden, I had a scent of cigarette smoke pass in front on me.  That’s when I thought of dad instantly thinking he’s gone.  I was waiting in silence for that phone call from the nursing home and sure enough the phone rang and they told me he had passed.  Dad was a smoker all his life until the last 6 months where he was not able to smoke any longer due to his declining health.
